At Hillcrest Sixth Form we offer a broad and balanced suite of Level 3 qualifications, all taught by teachers who have expertise in their subjects.

We are very proud of our examination success, with 100% pass rate for the 15^th consecutive year. 

2024 Examination Results:

A* to B = 65 % (54 % nationally);

A* to C = 80 % (76 % nationally);

A* to E = 100 % (97 % nationally);

100% Pass rate for 15 consecutive years.

A system is in place to ensure that pastoral advice and guidance is always at hand to support students throughout their time in the Sixth Form. We have a very supportive Pastoral Team, including the Head of Sixth Form and experienced personal tutors who support all students throughout their time here. 

Students are provided with the opportunity to gain additional qualifications and skills through the PSHE Day Programme, whilst the Extended Project Qualification is available for students alongside completing The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Students are supported step by step through applications to universities, apprenticeships and employment: whatever a student wants to pursue after Sixth Form, individual advice and guidance is given.  

The excellent results that our students achieve have allowed recent Year 13 leavers to gain places on a wide range of degree programmes, including Architecture, Biomedical Science, Medicine, History and Law. We have success in supporting students in applications for Russel Group universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.
